Dr. Tuula Hollmen and I are working with the National Park Service and US Geological Survey to evaluate the health of coastal ecosystems around Alaska. We recently had some company while collecting samples on a beach in Lake Clark National Park: A sow and her two cubs were digging up razor clams for their breakfast!
